Calling all 11-24 year olds across the Nambucca Valley…we want to know what you think!
Off the back of the successful Bellingen Youth Speak Project, comes the Nambucca Valley Youth Speak Project. A collaborative community project supported by a host of local youth and community organisations.
Becoming U will host the Nambucca Valley YOUth Speak project. In March 2024, Nambucca Valley youth participated in a survey focused on gathering a collection of youth voices on important local issues.
Next, the community will come together with hundreds of young people at the Youth Speak Forum to not only unpack findings but to join forces and develop project ideas.
Young people will be given opportunities to pitch their ideas about projects to local community allies, seeking to broader community support in helping and resourcing young people to bring their aspirations to life. This work seeks to support young people to become the catalyst for change.
