The survey was developed in collaboration with the Nambucca Valley Youth Interagency to strengthen our capacity to support and advocate for young people across the valley. The survey has captured crucial socio-demographic data and the outlooks of youth on a diverse range of topics.
Conducted in March 2024, the survey engaged 594 young people aged 12-24, representing 23% of the youth population in the Nambucca Valley (39% of youth aged 12-17).
The survey identified barriers to employment and education and explored opportunities to improve outcomes for youth in the region.
