The Nambucca Valley YOUth Speak© project is a collaborative effort between local services, organisations, schools, Nambucca Valley Council, and other supporters.
Together, we’re forging stronger partnerships to amplify the voices and ideas of local youth, driving impactful projects and solutions.
In early 2024, Becoming U partnered with Ellie Tree, the creator of YOUth Speak©, a youth engagement model, to empower a youth-led movement for positive change in the Nambucca Valley.
The YOUth Speak project model has 4 critical stages:
Youth Survey
Youth Forum
Youth Pitchfest
Youth-driven community-supported projects
Local Youth:
If you’re aged 12-24 and live, study, or work in the Nambucca Valley—or if you care for someone in this age group—and want to learn more about the Nambucca Valley YOUth Speak project and how to get involved, please reach out to Ellie at youthspeak@ncobs.org.au or Andrew at adavis@uniting.org.
