The BBYC presents 'Place of Plenty,' an exciting and diverse arts project designed for, by and with youth in Toormina and the 2452 area.

Title says 'Place of plenty' with an illustrated eye ball with a graffiti crown on a human body in a blue shirt

Are you aged 11–18 and living in the 2452 area? This is your chance to get creative, express your style, and rep where you’re from!

Join forces with incredible local artists in hands-on workshops where you’ll explore your creativity, learn from experienced mentors, and co-create something epic. Whether you’re into art, design, culture or just want to try something new — there’s a place for you here.

Bongil Bongil, known by the Gumbaynggirr People as “place of plenty”, is rich in culture, connection, and community. Through this project, we honour that legacy by celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the stories that make this place home.

By joining our workshops running from August through to November you’ll get to contribute and celebrate our beautiful area  and the best part? It all leads to a major exhibition on Fri 28th – Sun 30th November, where your work will be front and centre — celebrating the vibrant, diverse stories of our community.

Workshops are FREE to attend, with no experience needed and all materials provided.

See below for a list of upcoming workshops. (Spots are limited — register now and don’t miss out!)
