Becoming U Project's Inspire U Film Premiere Event artwork

On Friday 18 March 2022, come along to the premiere of our feature film which showcases amazing local people and their achievements.

An artist, a pilot, a conservationist, a costume designer and maker, a judge, a marine biologist, design writers, and a yoga teacher (who is also a naturopath who also runs her own health food company!), plus more. All have come from the Nambucca Valley and all are making a big difference to the world.

The film premiere will be an unmissable FREE community event with local food trucks, music, a themed photo booth, and the incredibly inspiring stories of our people.

There are free buses running from key spots around the region to pick you up before the event and drop you off afterwards.

At the event, each person will be given a drink voucher to grab a coffee from the Youthie’s stand or a soft drink from a food truck, and a meal voucher where you have the tough job of deciding what delicacy from our food trucks to choose: Miyachi Sushi, Nightshade Food, Mexican Mummas, RJ Sub Machine or Lumberjack Grill. We’re also giving out vouchers for Dippin’ Dots ice cream. Sweet!

In addition to the community event held at Nambucca Heads High School, we’ll be featuring loads more wonderful local stories in the digital series on our website.

Through the Inspire U Film Premiere event and digital series we want to celebrate the outstanding achievements, hard work, resilience, and determination of people who have grown up in Nambucca Valley, as well as positively influence mindsets around what our young people have the potential to achieve.
