Inspire U: Stories from the Valley - Feature Documentary
42.14 mins
Meet some amazing people from Gumbaynggirr Country, Nambucca Valley who have achieved wonderful things and had success in ways meaningful to them, despite challenges. The Inspire U digital series developed from community consultation where young people from Nambucca Valley, and those important to them, wanted to see local success stories and know what's possible.
Digital Storytelling Series
The Inspire U series is a purpose-driven platform of shared stories, inspiring the next generation to reach their full potential.
Through these narratives, young people from a diversity of backgrounds will talk about their strengths, share the challenges they have overcome and highlight people who have helped them along the way, while growing up in the Nambucca Valley.
The series is a tool to be utilised by parents, teachers and career advisors to motivate, re-inspire and encourage current students to make the most of the opportunities available to them whilst providing greater exposure to career opportunities, future life paths and networks.

Digital Story Film Premiere Event - Friday 18 March 2022
This Inspire U event will give ex-students a platform to inspire the next generation of young people in the Nambucca Valley.
It will encourage our community to work together with young people to foster their journey towards their goals.
The film is a whole of community approach that aims to bring students, teachers, parents and families together to have meaningful conversations about the future and positively influence local mindsets around what our young people have the potential to achieve.
The film premiere will be an unmissable FREE community event with local food trucks, music, a themed photo booth, and the incredibly inspiring stories of our people. We’re planning it as an outdoor event so please bring your own rug or foldable chairs.
If it’s raining on the day, we’ll move inside the school hall where seating will be available.
There are free buses running from key spots around the region to pick you up before the event and drop you off afterwards.
